The White House Project/MAC AIDS Fund Go Run Weekend

February 17-19, 2012

Advance your Leadership on Issues of HIV/AIDS

The White House Project, together with the MAC AIDS Fund Advisory Council, will select 75 exceptional women to attend one of three Go Run trainings, who will participate in the MAC AIDS Fund Action Cohort. This Action Cohort will inspire, inform, and equip leaders in the HIV/AIDS advocacy community, helping advance their leadership and supporting their ambitions to run for public office. This initiative has been made possible by the generous support of the MAC AIDS Fund.

Go Run is a weekend training aimed at demystifying the political process and building a political leadership pipeline with a richly diverse group of women. Selected MAC AIDS Fund Action Cohort participants will build on what they learn at Go Run training with a special Sunday session focused on leadership specific to issues of HIV/AIDS. As a member of the MAC AIDS Fund cohort, you will learn from a team of specialists and speakers, network with other advocates, and develop a “Blueprint for Leadership, “designed to mobilize your talents and skills as citizens-in-action.

Scholarships are available to cover the costs of travel and housing.
